About SES WORLD SKIES

SES AMERICOM and SES NEW SKIES have joined to form SES WORLD SKIES. Together, we offer our customers the benefit of our pooled experience and innovative approach to provide you with the tailored solutions for your satellite communications needs. Since January 1, 2009, SES WORLD SKIES has expanded its satellite fleet to 26 satellites. We are proud to announce that our coverage of Latin American and the Caribbean has also increased. We now have 6 satellites that service the region, making us unique through a mix of entrepreneurial spirit, technical ability, customer engagement, and experience in the industry. Our commitment is to build upon these same qualities and continue to increase our investment in satellites, in order to provide our customers everywhere with the capacity to grow their business.

Today, our satellite fleet comprises one of the world’s most advanced and far-reaching communications networks, transmitting critical data, Internet content, and television programming to points all over the globe. We strongly believe in developing long-term relationships with our customers and helping them build their future. To this end, we are currently in the process of augmenting our fleet, and will be adding more high-powered capacity to our regional fleet over the next two years.
