The tour takes you to the mouth of the immense bay and then to the
Pelourinho.
By the towering Lacerda Elevator, with great views of the bay stretching
out to the lower city, and stroll through the narrow and bustling streets.
Visit the church of São Francisco with its exuberant gold-leafed Baroque
interior and the Pelourinho square, the heart of the old town. Time for
lunch.
After lunch we continue to the lower city offering another perspective
of the sprawling city. Visit the famous Bonfim church (is closed on Mondays)
and the Monserrat district with its panoramic view of the city and on
to the Mercado Modelo, a thriving market for local artifacts and souvenirs.

Foz do Iguaçu (Iguaçu Falls), with the whole of his diversity
of charms, represents one of the most beautiful tourist destinies of the
world. It has natural incomparable riches, like the National Park of the
Iguaçu, knocked down like Natural Inheritance of the Humanity and where
the Waterfalls of the Iguaçu are located.
Besides the Waterfalls, the National Park of the Iguaçu disposes of tracks
and activities of ecological adventure: rafting, rappel, escalation in
rock and walks of boat amid the falls. It is possible also to fly over
the Waterfalls by helicopter.
Near to the National Park, you can find the Bird's Park, where the visitor
comes across the most different sorts of birds in its natural habitats.

Brazilian Falls & Macuco Jungle Safari & Boat Ride.
Descent on foot the walkways of the National Park while enjoying breathtaking
views of the Iguassu Falls located on the border of Brazil and Argentina
where the Iguassu River drops into a gigantic horseshoe canyon. Continue
to the panoramic elevator and lookout point for picture taking and to
experience the roaring thunder and majestic exuberance of the falls.
From the Hotel das Cataratas, we transfer to the Macuco Trail located
within the Iguassu National Park where we board jeeps for a 3 km ride
through the rain forest. Get to know several different species of sub-tropical
plants and trees, including orchids and the heart of palm which grows
in abundance in this forest. Continue for a 600 meter walk to the picturesque
Macuco Falls, hidden in the forested canyon. The trail brings us to the
banks of the Iguassu Canyon where we board twin-engine inflatable boats,
specially designed for the local river conditions. We then cruise up into
Iguassu Canyon while shooting the rapids to the very base of the majestic
waterfalls. As the experienced pilot maneuvers in the midst of the falls
themselves, you will experience the thrill of a different and breathtaking
view of the falls -- an adventure never to be forgotten.

AMAZON ECOPARK Jungle Lodge is a touristic, scientific and educational
property, created and directed by a private initiative back in 1991, opening
its doors to the public as an Ecotourism Lodge in 1995. Several streams
of clear water run through the area. Over 6 miles of jungle trails including
un-catalogued species, natural savannahs and creeks enable clients to
explore the jungle, observe orchids and giant trees.
